These terms govern access to MiitBook and the use of its services relating to books, reading and exchanges with professionals.
1. Purpose and acceptance
MiitBook connects readers, community members and professionals offering book-related services. Any use of the site implies acceptance of these terms and the rules displayed when placing an order.
2. Account creation and security
Users provide accurate information, keep their profiles up to date and protect their login credentials. Any activity carried out through a user’s account is presumed to have been performed by that user, unless promptly reported to support. MiitBook may request additional verification to protect the platform and its members.
3. Services and bookings
A service’s features, duration, price and availability are presented before confirmation. A booking becomes firm once payment has been validated. The time slot may be temporarily held during payment to prevent a double booking.
4. Prices and payment
The amount actually charged is displayed in euros before payment. Any conversions into another currency are indicative. Payment is processed by the payment provider offered on the site; MiitBook does not retain the user’s full banking details.
5. Cancellation and refunds
Points, passes and packages — version session-credit-v1
These rules apply only to new orders recorded on or after 2026-10-21T09:34:16Z (UTC) and identified as covered by this version. Each purchase remains subject to the terms recorded in its summary, even if payment is confirmed later.
Purchased points do not expire. Using them to buy a pass or package is separate from the validity period of the sessions included in that purchase. The conversion value and the number of points required are shown before confirmation.
A pass or package is valid for the purchased duration, starting when payment is confirmed. If the period already paid for is still in progress, a renewal starts when that period ends; otherwise, it starts when payment is confirmed. The free extension is not added to the renewal. Renewal is manual, with no automatic charge.
At the end of the purchased period, remaining sessions receive a single free 30-day extension for that purchase. The extension adds no sessions and cannot be renewed. Any sessions still unused expire at the deadline shown for that purchase, including the extension, subject to the arrangements for the professional’s unavailability.
Even after a pass or package has started, you may request a refund for remaining sessions before the deadline shown for that purchase, including the extension. The calculation uses the unit price actually paid for those sessions, preserving the purchase discount. Completed sessions and sessions that remain payable following a late cancellation under the applicable terms are excluded from this calculation.
Cancelling a session remains subject to the terms applicable to that booking, shown before confirmation. Check those terms before cancelling, or contact support@miitbook.com with the booking reference.
If the professional’s unavailability prevents you from using the affected sessions, they will be rescheduled or refunded. Contact support@miitbook.com with the purchase reference to arrange this.
These rules do not limit the rights guaranteed to you by applicable law.
First sessions and previous terms
For first sessions and earlier purchases, check the terms recorded in your summary. The previous text below does not apply to new passes or packages covered by version session-credit-v1.
If the reader cancels more than 24 hours before the session, they are entitled to a full refund. With less than 24 hours’ notice, 50 % is refunded and 50 % is allocated to the professional. If the reader fails to attend without notice, the session remains payable. If the professional cancels, the reader chooses between a full refund and another time slot or professional. A major technical problem may result in rescheduling or a refund after verification.
6. Conduct and community
Each member undertakes to communicate respectfully and not to publish content that is illegal, misleading, discriminatory, violent or infringes the rights of others. Rooms and messages may be moderated when a report or a risk to the community warrants it.
7. Responsibilities
MiitBook provides infrastructure for connecting users and processing payments. Each professional remains responsible for the quality, legality and accuracy of their services and recommendations. MiitBook implements reasonable availability and security measures without being able to guarantee a service entirely free from interruptions.
8. Intellectual property
The brand, interface and content produced by MiitBook are protected. Users retain their rights to their content and grant MiitBook only the permissions strictly necessary to display it and operate the service. No protected book may be reproduced or distributed without permission.
9. Suspension and closure
MiitBook may restrict or suspend an account in the event of fraud, a security risk, failure to comply with these terms or harmful conduct. Users may request closure of their accounts, subject to legal obligations and any transactions still in progress.

For any question, complaint or request relating to an order, contact support@miitbook.com. MiitBook favours an amicable resolution before any proceedings, without depriving consumers of the mandatory rights applicable in their country.
