Maxine Rose Schur

The popular biblical story of Ruth and her mother-in-law Naomi is retold in this beautifully illustrated picture book. As Ruth chooses to remain with Naomi with the famous words “Your people shall be my people,” she becomes the first convert to Judaism and the future grandmother of King David. A powerful story of friendship and commitment for a young audience.
