All he wanted was a mistress!

When Ruth Boyd learned her fiance was in love with another woman she felt heartbroken. She firmly decided that the risks of love were too great ever to become involved with another man.

So when her new boss, the tall dynamic Blake Marsden, took a personal interest in her, she shied away. Another relationship was the last thing she needed--especially the kind of casual affair Blake seemed to want!

At first Ruth was able to keep him at bay by letting him believe she still loved her ex-fiance. But Blake was devastatingly attractive ... and her real feelings were becoming harder and harder to conceal.
