Bamiyan was hidden in a remote corner of the History. Geographically it is situated in Afghanistan. In the beginning of the 21st century suddenly it made headlines in World news because of destruction of the dual statues of Buddha!

history of the sculpture of the Bamiyan Buddhas and their artistic features, archaeological history of the place and description of explorers from China, Korea and Europe including a summary of preservation work done.
The book is a comprehensive composition of the past and the present Bamiyan.
