Young Architects 9

rk

"The six young firms presented in Proof demonstrates the complexity of architectural design as both process and product, where speculation and hypothesis lead to subsequent testing, confirming, checking, and rechecking. Their inventive works - ranging from products that blur the lines between craft and computation to human-body scaled interventions in the urban landscape to a design-build condominium compound where the architects function as owner, developer, architect, and contractor - are laboratories for testing unique and unexpected design strategies." "Proof is the ninth in an annual series of publications that feature exceptional work by the talented winners of the Architectural League's annual Young Architects competition."--Jacket.
