An Erotic Philology of Golden Age Spain

Adrienne Laskier Martín

"An Erotic Philology of Golden Age Spain historicizes and examines a broad selection of canonical and non-canonical erotic texts in several genres from early modern Spain, with a specific focus on the symbolic system that underlies the representation of non-normative sexualities. The book reclaims erotic literature as a significant and integral part of Spanish literary history."--Jacket.
