The Vigilante Viscount

Bess Willingham

A LIFE SAVED... Blonde curls in disarray, poor but properly country-bred Faith Hopkins was in the grip of an abductor. She had walked all the way to London to seek genteel employment, only to be mistaken for a lady of the evening! All Faith could manage to do was faint...just as a mysterious masked man snatched her from her kidnapper's foul clutches. A HEART LOST... Her hero, the notorious Vigilante Viscount, was in fact Lord William Carrington, the season's best catch. Spurning a dandy's life, he secretly did good deeds under cover the darkest night. But now, after saving the honor of this lovely young woman, Carrington was suddenly struck with the irresistible urge to kiss her. Scandal would be his if the tabbies of the ton found out. For alas, he was about to become leg-shackled to another woman...unless a clever country miss turned the tables and rescued her rescuer's heart.
